Imagine borrowing from a library of tools instead of having your kitchen drawers filled with seldom-used gadgets. Perhaps you have a birthday coming up and don’t want to buy a cake tin you’ll only use once.

Have you ever wanted to check the energy efficiency of your home? Come borrow our Home Energy Kits or Thermal Cameras.

What if you could borrow something from the library first, to see if you enjoy using it?

The Library of Things allows you to try new equipment, get one-time tasks done, or practice new skills before deciding to invest in more household items. You’ll save money, space, and reduce waste.

Library card holders can borrow up to two Library of Things items at any one time. Two weeks is our standard loan period and items cannot be placed on hold.
